Central Pennsylvania Food bank
One in nine individuals in central Pennsylvania face hunger, including one in six children. There are individuals, working families, seniors, children, and those who are serving or have served in the military, who face food insecurity every day. With your help, we can provide them with the comfort of knowing they will have access to healthy, nutritious meals. A donation of $1 helps us provide six meals in the 27 counties we serve.
Together we can give our neighbors better access to better foods for a healthy and bright future.

What would happen if we didn’t invest in the future of Pennsylvania Agriculture? Do we have an adequate supply of young men and women interested and educated in agriculture? YMCA York Half and Full Marathon
Mid Atlantic Industrial Equipment is a Proud Sponsor of the YMCA York Marathon and will always GO THE DISTANCE to support the community! You can too by participating in the marathon on Sunday, May 19th from 6am to 12pm. The race begins at the York Branch YMCA, 90 N. Newberry Street & ends at Lafayette Plaza in the heart of the City of York.
The YMCA of York County is a leader in providing need-based programming, building strong kids, families & communities. The Y is a catalyst for community collaborations with kindred organizations that demonstrate stewardship, creativity, efficiency & friendliness.

Mid Atlantic is a Toys for Tots Drop off location! Drop your toy donations off at Mid Atlantic from 8am to 4pm Monday thru Friday in the box found in the reception area.

Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is where people mobilize to help their neighbors — across the street, across the country, and across the world — in emergencies. Each year, in communities large and small, victims of roughly 70,000 disasters turn to neighbors familiar and new — the more than half a million volunteers and 35,000 employees of the Red Cross. Through over 700 locally supported chapters, more than 15 million people gain the skills they need to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their homes, communities and world.
Hearts for Hunger
Hearts for Hunger is a Christian based group that provides hope and help thru the blessing of food and necessities. Their goal is to model the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing for those in need. Hearts for Hunger food pantry serves the Red Lion, PA and surrounding areas which includes Glen Rock, Stewartstown, Shrewsbury, Felton, Fawn Grove, Winterstown, New Freedom, Windsor, Dallastown and communities in between.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation
Make-A-Wish makes life better for wish kids, and everyone else involved. You’ll see it in wish stories, videos, photos, and heartfelt quotes and comments from wish kids, families, volunteers, staff, and others.
Every year, approximately 27,000 children are diagnosed with a medical condition that makes them eligible for a wish experience. In Fiscal Year 2015, we granted the wishes of nearly 14,800 kids.
JDRF – Type 1 Diabetes Research
Millions of people around the world live with type 1 diabetes (T1D), a life-threatening autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults. There is no way to prevent it, and at present, no cure. JDRF works every day to change this by amassing grassroots support, deep scientific knowledge and strong industry and academic partnerships to fund research.

The American Cancer Society is on a mission to free the world from cancer. Until they do, they’ll be funding and conducting research, sharing expert information, supporting patients, and spreading the word about prevention. All so you can live longer — and better.
